Gas Temperature and Water Concentration
LaVision’s Internal Combustion Optical Sensor (ICOS)-Temperature system analyzes time-resolved in-cylinder temperature and concentration of gaseous water in hydrogen internal combustion engines. The system delivers crank angle resolved single cycle and cycle averaged information over many consecutive cycles. The example shows the highly time resolved H2O concentration evolution in an engine measured at the spark plug position at motored and fired conditions.
