Optical Engine Indication - ICOS

LaVision’s Internal Combustion Optical Sensors (ICOS) measure crank angle resolved air/fuel ratio, exhaust gas concentration, EGR-rate and gas temperature directly inside the cylinder. The optical sensor is integrated into a spark plug, a glow plug or positioned at any other in-cylinder location using M5-probes. Transmission probes are available for path integrated cross-cylinder measurements.
